The District will stop releasing water from Indian Valley and Cache Creek Dams on October 1st. Water customers should order water as soon as possible if they would like to irrigate before the end of the season.

 

Indian Valley Campground Schedule

The last day for camping for the season at the Indian Valley Campground is Sunday November 15, 2020. The gate will be locked on the morning of November 16th.

 

Also please be advised that there is NO WATER at the campsites, so you must bring your own water for drinking and washing. The bathrooms are open.

Historical Levels for Clear Lake

The link below to the USGS website displays a graph of the high and low lake elevations on Clear Lake for the past thirty years. Once on the USGS website, you can change the date to graph data going back to 1913.

Cache Creek Flows

The USGS monitors the level of water in Cache Creek at the bridge at several locations below Indian Valley and Cache Creek dams. Click the links below for the most current creek level observations, which will take you to the USGS website.

Public Records Request

Members of the public have a right to request to inspect and/or copy documents concerning the conduct of the District's business. According to the California Public Records Act, records shall be made promptly available for inspection. To request documents not normally made available to the public, please fill out the request form below and submit it to the District office.

Indian Valley Campground & Boat Ramp

Quagga Mussel Screenings are required to launch a boat at Indian Valley. $1000 fine for failure to have a screening prior to launch.Screenings are not available at Indian Valley; for screening locations, please click here. (Lake County website link.)

Online Archive for Cache Creek

An online catalogue of documents pertaining to Cache Creek and adjacent areas in Yolo and Lake counties has been made available through the Water Resources Center Archives.
